I liked the car and the location was very convenient.

Cons:

Very slow pick up and drop off process. Not enough employees or they were just too busy. Lines of people inside and out the door waiting for help. No clear process to pick up or who is next. It was just very unorganized.

My initial rental was not ready on time and I was not given a discount or compensated then my rental was delayed until the next day and I was charged the same amount and the car was had to be downgraded to a five passenger suv instead of a seven. It was devastating because it was my birthday weekend and it messed up my plans.

Bryan Doka and staff at the Boulder Highway location were efficient, friendly and incredibly helpful. They located a vehicle that I had requested, had it available and ready for pickup at the time reserved. Would highly recommend their location.

They gave us a car and was hurried to leave, without checking to make everything right. We had some issues after we got to another city. They told us we can use our coupon when we drop off, but when we dropped off another people said we can't. They said they will figure out for us, but it's been a week our account is still locked and the one promised he will figure out the next day is out. They don't seem to be helping at all

I called and confirmed that there would be a car for me. Keisha said yes there was a Nissan SUV for me, so I rode to the airport to pick it up. When I got there, the people at the counter said there was not a car for me.l and that they do not take same day reservations. I told them I spoke to Keisha and she said there was a car here for me. They said “customer service doesn’t know what inventory we have. We don’t have any cars, and no one else does.” Why would Alamo let me make a reservation if they didn’t have any cars or accept same day reservations? So frustrating. They offered no help either.

Location at Milan train station was NOT UPDATED; VERY HARD TO FIND. As well as dropoff at Bologna airport. Dropoff location was NOT CLEARLY MARKED! I was charged again for insurance by affiliate Italian company!

I didn't like national due the over charge was out rageous, getting charged 80 cents kilometers when it'd suppose to be 33 cents kilometers. They were charging 3000 kilometers when it's 23650 n charging 2000 in kilometers charges when he said I was out of province, they gave me a Alberta license plate car n now they want to charge me, the attitude from the man was very rude,problems with car and said couldnt do anything, I need to be treated like criminal, when it's criminal the way they try and scam you. I will never rent from another rental car company again especially your company, I don't give you any stars and a poor review. Worst company.. the way he ordered me to pay and the way he talked to me in public, he said I don't need to talk to him like that when he kept refusing to give the mangers number and argued with me n when people were staring he said I don't need to be treated this and talked in his language and got angry gave me the number after 20 min, I walked 2 hours home passed off with the treatment and then the guy took the car out and literally stepped on the pedal went more then speed limit on the airport road, he was mad with ne cause I refuse to pay 3000 dollars for double the amount to what was told.. never rent a car in fort st john they will rob you blind...

Being Scammed for fuel is not a good experience especially from a brand such as Sixt. I rented a car with a supposed full tank. the Car is a small Car and that can hardly burn more than 5/6 litres per 100km. After I drove 130 KM and returned the car, I had to fill in 15.3 liters . this only means one thing, the car was not full. the second car I rented and that I am still driving, shows 670km autonomy and a small red band at the fuel level indicator. Again NOT Full. I have no idea what games are being played at this location with Fuel, but it looks like a Scam to me. SIXT Better ACT

We felt fortunate to get our rental. There were only two agents working, by the time our delayed fight arrived, and the customer lines were very long. We were relieved to get a car, despite the fact that many customers did not. The customer service agent was very friendly and helpful.

The “midsize suv” was a tiny Corolla Cross which is a crossover economy platform not an SUV of any kind. And it was expensive and the pick up area at JFK is torn up badly!

Kayak sold me car insurance for my trip. I told the rep that I bought it, he said he could see the policy attached to the reservation. When I got the bill, $40 was added to the trip fees. When I called Advantage, they said, "we don't accept third party insurance". I will never purchase thru kayak or advantage again.

Quoted $169.00. Showed up and they tried to rip me off for gas, tolls and especially insurance. After going through many hoops to show that I have adequate insurance coverage, I was asked to produce a declaration page. After spending 10 minutes on the phone with my insurance company, the agent just said “Do you have a car loan? Then you’re fine. You have adequate coverage” - It was a very poor experience. There should never be a quoted price and final price that are nearly double. I’ll never rent from them or recommend them.

Travel options to/from the offsite location is HORRIBLE. The shuttle buses run every 20 minutes and is a very small shuttle when it does arrive. Once at the rental location, the lines to speak with a rep is just as bad as the wait for the shuttle buses. This is a big inconvenience and would drive me back to paying the higher rental cost for convenience and speed. On a good note, my customer service rep was amazing! And the vehicle I receive is always nice and clean.

They refused to honor my reservation and claimed they had no cars but could make a special opportunity for me at $175 a day. As it was late at night I had to take their high price offer for one day but got them down $106 a day. We switched to Economy Rent-A-Car the next day at $84 for 4 days. Steer clear of Advantage. They are scammers and liars

Gasing up the car on return was not properly explained . Was charged for fuel twice , I filled up the car fully on return and was still charged for fuel on the final bill . I will be requesting a credit on that .

Absolutely awful. I pre-paid for this car rental and when I arrived to the Payless counter, I was told that no cars were available! Calling Payless customer service was useless. They said that the best they could do is to process a refund... how was that going to help? I was stuck at Indianapolis Airport with no means of getting to my final destination. I will never rent with Payless again.

NU over charged me and said they would fix it when i returned the car. I asked for a receipt and they wouldn't give me one, said it would be emailed but i never got it. They owe me $40.82. when i called, the phone rang and rang. There is no email address, no other way of contacting them.

It was really hard to find the shuttle driver and when we did it took us to a sketchy feeling part of town took us into a warehouse and had us talk with a representative with a very heavy accent over a computer screen. We were not told where to bring the car back - turns out we had to find the sketchy warehouse back and they could not take us back to our hotel even though it was closer than the airport.

-Salesman committed fraud stating insurance was $40 for the duration when it was closer to $50 a day -Salesman committed fraud by implying my insurance does not cover rentals (he's acting inappropriately by hinting knowledge of my personal life....my insurance is not public....and it does cover rentals thankfully....but crossing that customer/business veil is inappropriate conduct and edging on safety concerns... -No handicap accessibility concerns, I am disabled, their disabled stall was closed but when I asked they said it was working, having me walk around the building in pain with my cane to find out it's broken. Not handicap friendly -They did not reserve us the Toyota we requested instead substituting for a Charger GT which consumes more gas and is more inconvenient to park than a smaller Toyota, this business tactic may have been done to increase my chances of scratching the car as I not being used to driving it may be likely to make a scratch or, they may have wanted us to forget about all their surcharges once we filled the GT for $120 then their little fraudulent surcharges seem small in comparison...sunken cost fallacy...disgraceful company...

We were lucky the front desk was empty at our arrival so it was quick. They looked at our car insurance and confirmed we didn’t need their insurance. The car was clean. But if you rent baby seats, they are more expensive s than the rental itself.

We are very desappointed because we did not pay the price we booked (about +50%) because there were lots of additionnal charges like the mandotory assurance (we didn’t know we needed to proove that we had a personnal assurance, if so, we should asked a proof to our insurrance to avoid the additionnal charges), a deposit of 2000$ and we were charged because we paid it by card, the car was old with lots of miles and they told us we were not allowed to drive 200miles away from New Orleans. Hopefully our trip was next New Orleans, but if you want to make a road trip it’s a problem. The last, but not least you can read on the door office that the price can change depending on the customer ! I really don’t recommand this Rental.

I loved the car loved the easy pick up and return of the rental car. The airport made it very self explanatory to get the car back with white letters on the road to direct you back to the rental car return. Made me smile. I had to extend my rental due to not finishing the work I came down for and the company made it very easy to extend.
